Keep Singing WNC

Round up your change to support local music and community mutual aid.

Every single cent you round up at the register goes directly to the Leona Wild Collective—an all-female-led nonprofit providing mutual aid, small grants, and sustainable resources for the independent musicians and artists who give Western North Carolina its melody.

Right now, your change is building the stage for a massive day in the River Arts District on October 3rd.

We are proudly presenting Foundy Fest at The Foundation, featuring an incredible lineup with Holler Choir, Asheville Bluegrass Band, and The Local Honeys.

It's going to be an unforgettable Saturday in Asheville, perfectly pairing local grassroots tunes with the bikes, beers, and bemusement of New Belgium's Tour de Fat happening the very same day.

What is a Round Up Campaign?

A Round Up campaign allows customers to round their purchase up to the next whole dollar, donating the spare change to a local cause.

$18.47 becomes $19.00

The extra $0.53 supports Leona Wild Collective.

While each donation is small, thousands of purchases together create meaningful funding for artists, emergency assistance, community programming, and FoundyFest.

Pride Partners

Round Up Pride Partners help turn everyday purchases into direct support for FoundyFest, artist emergency aid, and the local music ecosystem that keeps Asheville singing.

How It Works

Ask at Checkout

"Would you like to round up today to support Leona Wild Collective and FoundyFest?"

POS Adds Donation

The register automatically adds the customer's round-up donation or donation line item.

Track Campaign

Businesses can monitor totals through their POS reporting.

Remit Funds

At campaign end, businesses send the collected donations to Leona Wild Collective and receive Pride Partner recognition.

Setting Up a Round Up Campaign

Many modern POS systems already support charitable campaigns or can accomplish them using donation items or third-party integrations.

Toast

Toast offers built-in fundraising capabilities, including customer donation prompts and round-up functionality for supported configurations.

Shopify POS

Shopify POS merchants can typically enable customer round-up campaigns through apps such as ShoppingGives, DonateMate, or similar charitable giving integrations.

Clover

Clover merchants can install donation applications such as Donate at Checkout or 360 Donations to support round-up and fundraising campaigns.

Square

Square currently does not offer a native round-up campaign feature. Most Square merchants accomplish this using a custom non-taxable donation item, donation modifier, or a linked online donation checkout.

Other POS Systems

If your POS supports custom items, open donations, cashier prompts, modifiers, or charitable products, it can likely support this campaign with minimal setup.

Contact your POS provider or reseller for assistance configuring your register.
